UArizona Cognitive Science comprises two units: the Cognitive Science Program in the College of Science and the Cognitive Science Graduate Interdisciplinary Program in the Graduate College.

Cognitive Science Graduate Interdisciplinary Program (GIDP)

UArizona GIDPs bridge across traditional departmental boundaries to facilitate cutting edge interdisciplinary research and teaching. The Ph.D. minor in Cognitive Science is offered through the GIDP.  Bob Wilson is the Chair of the Cognitive Science GIDP.

A total of 70 faculty members from 7 colleges and 21 departments constitute the Cognitive Science Graduate Interdisciplinary Program (GIDP).

The Cognitive Science Program and the Cognitive Science Graduate Interdisciplinary Program are two of the six units in the School of Mind, Brain and Behavior  in the College of Science at the University of Arizona. The other units are the Neuroscience Department, the Neuroscience Graduate Interdisciplinary Program, the Psychology Department, and the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Department.
