Massimo Piattelli-Palmarini, with David Medeiros and the Italian physicist Giuseppe Vitiello, has recently pursued an analysis of the parallels between the fundamental traits of syntax and central components of quantum field theory. This was first presented  at the First International Symposium on the Physics of Language in Tokyo in March 2016, then at the 8th international physics symposium on spacetime, matter and quantum mechanics (Castiglioncello, Italy) in September 2016. This formal exercise reveals the dynamics underlying some central aspects of the Minimalist Program, opening new avenues of inquiry. Four 2016-2018 publications are available on his website, http://massimo.sbs.arizona.edu/ and one at arXiv:1506.08663v1 [cs.CL]
